Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Why is the organization named projekt Zet?

A: An English translation of the name would be “The Z Project”, derived from a principle called "Z"-Thinking. “Z”, as the last letter of the alphabet, represents the end, or the final purpose to which we aim. One of the principles taught to church planters is to always aim toward their “Z” in ministry. Every activity should in some way contribute toward reaching their “Z”. Our “Z” as a team is to help facilitate a national church planting movement in the Czech Republic. Our organizational name reflects our ministry purpose.

Q: Is projekt Zet a traditional church planting organization?

A: The principles of saturation church planting are described and illustrated throughout the Bible. We advocate paradigms that necessarily emphasize leadership development and multiplication principles rather than traditional, serial church planting methods.

Q: Is projekt Zet connected with the Alliance for Saturation Church Planting?

A: The Alliance for Saturation Church Planting formed its first facilitation team in the Czech Republic in 1995. A facilitation team has functioned since that time. projekt Zet is the current name of the facilitation team that works according to saturation church planting (SCP) principles.

Q: Didn’t the Alliance for Saturation Church Planting (ASCP) dissolve?

A: The Alliance as an organization officially dissolved in 2005. The saturation church planting principles, values and resources of the Alliance are still being actively utilized in former soviet Eurasia.

Q: Is projekt Zet a sending agency?

A: projekt Zet partners are members of many different churches, denominations and mission agencies in and beyond the Czech Republic. Partners are sent by their organizations and maintain their organizational loyalty while working with projekt Zet. projekt Zet functions as a network of like-minded partners who work together to help facilitate a national church planting movement in the Czech Republic based upon a common ministry vision, values and strategic objectives.

Q: Is projekt Zet a support agency?

A: projekt Zet supports church planters and church planting projects in many ways. We support church planting by sharing vision, conducting research, promoting prayer, training and mentoring church planters, producing ministry tools and providing resources. projekt Zet supports national partners through personal mentoring relationships with help, encouragement, counsel, cooperation and use of resources.
