Church Planting Round Table

On April 18-19, 2008 we hosted our first Church Planting Round Table in Brno. This was an opportunity to gather those interested in church planting from across the country to discuss “Church Planting Models in the Czech Republic.” The following Czech church planters presented the church planting models utilized in their respective settings:

  • Lukáš Targosz: Element Church in Hradec Kralove and Pardubice -- Regional church model
  • Pavel Kalous: Ixthys (an evangelical free church) in Litoměřice -- Traditional church model
  • Pavel Vopalecký: Plymouth Brethren assembly in Ostrava -- Cell church model
  • Josef Pavliňák: Christian Education and Life -- Marks of a Movement

The Round Table included plenty of interaction as well as time for questions and answers. The aim was to stimulate discussion and learn from one another.

The Round Table, which began at 2 p.m. on Friday and concluded at 2 p.m. on Saturday, was held at the Majak ministry center in Brno-Lesna.  For future Round Table events or  to get more information please “Contact us.”
