Financial Partnership

There is no getting around it; it costs money to do ministry. Every resource – books, workshops and outreaches, they all have a price tag. Materials and equipment, travel and expenses need to be paid. We only have a few choices: (1) raise the needed funds or (2) spend less money (which almost always results in a reduction of ministry services). God has blessed many of you with enough wealth to share and be generous.

Your gifts and grants can help us help facilitate church multiplication in the Czech Republic and beyond.

The Fruit of Financial Partnership

Ten years ago, “Stepan” completed our national church planter training. Not only did God use him to reinvigorate his church but he has been used throughout southern Moravia and western Slovakia to teach and train hundreds of Christians and leaders every year. Without financial partners it would not have been possible to develop and share training resources.

“Daniel” and “Pavla” have planted and helped lead a local congregation for twelve years. God has been using them to coach church planters for several years. Now they sense God’s leading and direction to help facilitate the development of lay ministry teams. These teams will evangelize the lost, establish new believers in the faith, and equip them for ministry and leadership. Early on they too participated in training we offered. Now we share a common vision, a discipled nation – a spiritual movement in the Czech Republic.

There are more Stepans, Daniels and Pavlas who could benefit from the resources we develop and make available (most are free and others are at cost).

Jirka, a pastor with no formal training in biblical studies or practical theology leads a growing congregation in southern Moravia. Thanks to resources we helped develop and make available he is now being equipped systematically to teach, preach and lead. Besides him, three others from the church also participate in the training alongside him. Just a few years ago this would not have been possible. Thanks to generous partners people like this are trained to lead churches in the most atheistic nation in the world.

These stories could be multiplied many times over but we’re sure you get the idea. Your contribution helps us help Czechs to multiply churches and saturate the Czech Republic with healthy small groups and churches.

Current Priorities: Opportunities for Financial Partnership

Some of our current needs and high priority projects are:

  • our “daily bread” so to speak – regular and one-time gifts for our monthly support
  • a “roof “over the head of projekt Zet – a base of operations (office space, phone service, internet access, and servers)
  • development of an evangelistic resource “One-On-One”, a tool for personal evangelism designed to help a Christian introduce their friends to the “good news” about Jesus Christ
  • translation into Czech of books on evangelism, discipleship and church planting
  • development of participant workbooks for the Values of a Healthy Church seminar
New & Noteworthy:
  • Brian and Don are on home ministry assignment for one year Pray for us as we travel, sharing what God has done in, through and around us these last four years in the Czech Republic.
  • Discipleship Essentials a workbook for discipleship triads and quartets as been translated and published. Last year it was field tested with groups from the Ichthys congregation in Litoměřice.
  • Transforming Discipleship a companion to Discipleship Essentials is translated, printed and ready for distribution.  This book explains the rationale and approach behind discipleship triads and quartets.

projekt Zet exists to facilitate the transformation of Christian disciples who serve and gather others into healthy  fellowships that reproduce and transform their oikos for the glory of God.

Discipleship Essentials is a discipleship workbook for use in triads, small groups or one-on-one. The balance of this relational and rational approach to discipleship is a welcome addition to the Czech mentors toolbox.
